All-on-X/All on 4 in Scottsdale Arizona

Until the 3 on 6™ came along, the All-on-X had been the dental restoration procedure of choice for edentulous patients (without teeth). We generally encourage patients who are pursuing a full mouth restoration to consider the 3 on 6™ but for some patients their level of bone loss disqualifies them as a candidate. In those cases, the All-on-X is the next best option because it can be placed in scenarios where the patient has already sustained significant bone loss.
The All on 4 refers to 4 implants holding the prosthetic in place. All on X means any # of implants can be placed and the appropriate number will be decided by the doctor and the patient. The All on 4 or All on X are far superior to a denture. Dentures can fall out unexpectedly, can cause a gag reflex, covers the roof of the mouth, limits eating, are expensive and time consuming to maintain, and don't support good bone health.

Since the All on 4 is supported by dental implants, they don't fall out unexpectedly, they don't cover the roof of your mouth, and the dental implants provide more bone support and decreased bone loss. If there isn't enough bone in your mouth for a 3 on 6, the All on 4 may be a good option over a denture.
All on 4 Steps
Step 1: All on 4 Consultation
Everything begins with a free All on 4 consultation in our office. We will take scans of your mouth which we use to determine if you are a candidate for the All-on-4. At this initial consultation, we will go over payment and financing options with you and determine if and when you would like to begin treatment.
Step 2: All on 4 Surgery
At the following appointment, the implant surgery will take place. This can be done with local anesthesia or you can choose to be sedated. During this appointment the implants will be placed along with a temporary All on 4 restoration. You'll leave the office with new teeth. After this surgery, the implants will need to heal for a few months, so a softer foods diet will be required. Our dental lab will use scans of your teeth or pre-designed models to design your new smile. You will have input on the design including the shade of the teeth.
Step 3: All on 4 Restoration
After your implants are healed, you will have a stronger, more beautiful All-on-4 zirconia restoration placed. You will leave our office with a beautiful new smile that you can bite, chew, and smile with confidently.
